  1. Instructions for Installing and Viewing the ADS NetTOOLS Demo
  2.  
  3. The ADS NetTOOLS Demo on this floppy disk has been compressed using
  4. PKZIP.  The demo was created in PowerPoint 3.0, and can be viewed using
  5. PowerPoint 3.0, or the PowerPoint viewer.  In case you do not have either
  6. of these programs, we have included the PowerPoint Viewer on this disk.
  7. In order to view the demo these files must be uncompressed.  In
  8. order to do this proceed with the following directions:
  9.  
  10. 1.  Create a directory on your hard drive for the demo and the viewer.
  11.         Example: MD C:\NETTOOLS
  12.  
  13. 2.  Change to the new directory.
  14.         Example: CD\NETTOOLS
  15.  
  16. 3.  Place the demo disk in the proper floppy drive and copy the files.
  17.         Example: COPY A:\*.*
  18.  
  19. 4.  Uncompress the demo files with this command:
  20.         NETTOOLS
  21.  
  22. 5.  Run Windows.
  23.         Example: WIN
  24.  
  25. 6.  From Program Manager, access the File menu and choose the Run command.
  26.  
  27. 7.  Browse for the DEMO directory and run PPTVIEW.EXE.
  28.  
  29. 8.  From the PPTVIEW file selector choose NETTOOLS.PPT and click on VIEW.
  30.  
  31. The demo will run through once, and then return you to the PPTVIEW program.
